2.1 These terms and conditions regulate all e-mails sent and received by all employees and representatives of Peresec in South Africa (“Peresec Companies”), as contemplated in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
2.2 All e-mails are intended for the addressee only and unauthorised disclosure is prohibited. If you receive an e-mail of which you are not the intended recipient, please delete it.
2.3 The e-mail address and other contact details of any employee or representative of any company in the Peresec Companies may not be sold or used, or incorporated into any database, for mailing, spamming or marketing purposes.
2.4 No e-mail will give rise to legally binding rights or obligations, nor will it constitute financial or other advice (in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002, or otherwise), unless specifically stated.
2.5 No person may assume that an e-mail sent to any employee or representative of the Peresec Companies has been received, until such person has acknowledged receipt of the e-mail. An automatic reply does not constitute an acknowledgement of receipt.

2.9 No company within the Peresec Companies, and no person employed by any such company, will be liable for any loss or damage arising from the transmission, failed transmission, receipt or content of any e-mail or attachment, or the loss or corruption of data (including any malicious software code or viruses transmitted via any e-mail).
